I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that this ISN'T based on a Point Horror...
Surely that is a parody. Nothing that ridiculous could possibly be intended seriously.
I mean, just look at it.
PaulHi - oh my, I do wish it was. That would definietly be the special summin' summin' I'd need to get me enthused about these books again. They could make it teen friendly by toning it down and making it about drinking wee or something. Or maybe that would be worse. Shucks.
Anonymous - The acting skills on display would certainly be consistent with the parody theory. Although on the other hand, I can't really envisage a project like this attracting the very top talent anyway.
